Pat Hancock moved to the Bluffton/Hilton Head area in 1968 from Tallahassee, FL.  She became a SC Real Estate Broker in 1976 and worked with Sea Pines and Hilton Head Management Company from 1971-1989, with exception of one year with Fripp Island Resort in 1980.

Her past involvement on the Island includes serving as President of the Hilton Head Island Hospitality Association, Chairman of the Board of Hilton Head Island Special Events, Vice Chairman of the Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chairman of the Hilton Head Island Visitor and Convention Bureau.  She has also served as President and Chairman of the Board of the SC Hotel & Motel Association, President of the Greater Columbia Hotel & Motel Association and as a board member of the SC Hospitality Association.

Prior to returning to Hilton Head in October 2003, she lived in Columbia, SC, where she owned a special events company, consulted to hotels and resorts and started a real estate company.  Pat Hancock Real Estate, LLC now has offices in Columbia and in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area.

She enjoys putting her extensive knowledge of Hilton Head, Bluffton and the Low Country to work in assisting her clients in buying and selling real estate in the area.
